The new Summer Art Camp around the Historic McKinney Square is in full bloom with the array of multicolored creations growing each day.
Summer Art Camp shops, studios and galleries around the Square include Stained Glass of McKinney, Happiness Is . . . Quilting!, Historic Art House and Walls of Clay. Campers are accompanied to artists at each location, who take turns daily teaching the art of fusing glass, painting and throwing pottery, creating with textiles and fabric, making jewelry and more. Campers are encouraged to use these lessons to create their own unique pieces of art at each location.
